My job, my passion
My journey has been anything but ordinary, and yet it led me exactly where I was meant to be.
After graduating from a top engineering school in 2015, I began my career in scientific research, then moved into sales. Very quickly, however, I realized I was completely out of sync. Between 2016 and 2018, I explored other paths, taking on a wide range of jobs, from property management assistant to swimwear sales associate, and even singing in my spare time. The common thread was a deep desire to find where I truly belonged.
What I didn’t yet realize was that my passion for makeup, which I was already practicing at festivals, birthdays, and Halloween parties, could be more than just a hobby. As I gradually immersed myself in the professional world, I understood that it could become a real career. So in 2018, I took the leap and followed my instincts.
With no safety net and no guarantees, just an overwhelming drive to learn, I registered as an independent candidate for the CAP in aesthetics. After one intense month of studying, diploma in hand, I was ready to dive in headfirst.
2019 was a pivotal year. Between preparing a professional makeup qualification, working with my first brides, and holding down a day job in perfumery, I gave it everything I had. And it paid off: I earned the Professional Makeup Artist Qualification Certificate with the highest grades in France that year.
What came next was an incredible journey filled with encounters, challenges overcome, and above all, the certainty that I had found my true calling.
Since then, I have continued to develop my small business...
More and more clients trust me, despite a global context that is not very favorable to events. More than 45 brides have entrusted me with their beauty in 2021.
Always on the lookout for new trends, I devote a lot of time to perfecting my techniques and testing new products. I go to many professional events every year (Mondial de la beauté, Beauty Forum, Congrès des Nouvelles Esthétiques, etc.) to exchange with my colleagues and train myself continuously.
My work ethic
For me, makeup is above all a means of expression, a form of art. This is why I practice my profession in an inclusive manner. All people wishing to use my services will be welcomed in a respectful and egalitarian manner.
In addition, nature and especially animals deserve our full consideration. Thus, I favor brands and products labeled Cruelty Free (not tested on animals).
Committed to defending my profession, I joined the local office of the National Confederation of Artisans Beauty Institutes and Spas (CNAIB-spa) as well as an association promoting artistic aesthetics (CNAIB-UNIB Artistique).
